The Crystal Palace winger made it clear he wants to leave Selhurst Park this summer and play for a Champions League club. However, it now seems as though the Ivory Coast international is holding out for a move to the Emirates to play for his boyhood club. Unai Emery is desperate to sign the winger, telling the board to break the bank to get him. And now it is believed Arsenal have made their first move in order to land their No 1 transfer target who Palace rate at £80m.

Zaha’s brother, Judicael, said: “Wilfried will always hold Crystal Palace and their fans in the highest regard and all the support they’ve given means the world to him.“It’s my brother’s dream though to play for Arsenal. “Given all Wilfried has given to Palace to help them remain a Premier League club, I hope Palace will be able to see their way to agreeing on a deal with Arsenal that allows Wilfried to realize his dream of playing European football for the club he’s supported since childhood.”

Crystal Palace has reportedly slapped a huge £100million price tag on the winger despite him wanting to move. This is well out of the Gunners' price range and it could mean that Zaha will have to hand in a transfer request to try and force the move through
